Lignimago is an architectural woodworking company specializing in the design and manufacture of European-style cabinets and custom furniture. Our goal is to unite imagination with wood, creating the Lignimago Experience* for our client.
Our Name
At first sight, our name might throw you. As one client said, it looks like a high-point Scrabble word. Or maybe it’s an archaic word for wood that we discovered in the Oxford English Dictionary.
Nah. We made it up.
Searching for an unusual word which would say more than Joe’s Cabinets, we stumbled on a couple of Latin terms and put them together. Lignum = wood. Imago = imagination. And when we found that the dot-com was available, we grabbed it.
